Summary:
In the distant future, mankind has migrated into space. However, dangers lurk in the vast reaches of space, and mankind are now facing extinction from an alien species known as Victim. Zion, the only habitable planet left for mankind, mankind build five Ingrids, known as the Goddesses, to protect Zion and fend off Victims. Zero Enna, aka Candidate 88, has just arrived on pilot training school GOA. Like other candidates, he wants to become a Goddess pilot one day. Before that happens though, Zero will long road ahead to prove himself worthy...

Note:
The original English title used in Japan is Candidate for Goddess. A total of 26 episodes were originally planned, but only 13 episodes were made. Bandai Entertainment has only licensed the first twelve episodes. The thirteen episode is a recap.
