Summary:
In the near future, an unexplained phenomenon has occured on a distant place called "The Lost Grounds", a place created when the land splits and protrudes upward to unprecedented heights. Here, a new species of human arises, and known as Alter Users. They can manipulate matter and alter it into unique forms. Kazuma is a young mercenary who lives in the Lost Ground, looking for any work he can find to sustain his livelihood within the harsh environment. When Kazuma encounters Ryuho, a member of HOLY, a group of Alter Users whose purpose is to capture all Alter Users, an epic battle begins.
