Summary:
Tohno Shiki does not remember much of his life before an accident 8 years ago. After spending years living with relatives, Shiki is ordered to return to the household by his sister Akiha, now the head of the Tohno family after their father passed away recently. Shiki may seems just a normal boy, but he has a secret: ever since that accident, Shiki can see "lines" on people and objects, and he wears a special pair of glasses to stop himself from seeing them. On the day Shiki moves back to his home, he ran into a beautiful woman at the park and cut her into pieces with his knife... unfortunately for Shiki, that is not the end for the woman: for the woman he killed is a vampire, and thanks to Shiki, she now needs him to help her tracking down the man responsible for the recent murders in the town...
