In responds to the March 12 Japan earthquake near Sendai, GOOD SMILE COMPANY will release a special edition of Nendoroid Hatsune Miku in June 2011, and for every unit sold they will donate 1000 Yen to Japan Red Cross.

Essentailly the original Nendoroid plus the new extra accessories (pompoms and flag, see photos below), the figure is only available through GSC Online Shop for domestic orders, and as usual Yesasia has made it available for purchase from its website at a premium (as well as at least one eBay seller from Hong Kong as of March 27).

April 8 Update: the figure is now available for overseas buyers at GOOD SMILE COMPANY Online Shop until April 21. 5000 Yen total for one figure (3000 Yen for the figure and 2000 Yen for shipping), please do note that payment will be charge rightaway, and it will not be shipped until late July 2011.
