The Yuzen fabrics that make up her kimono were made using long-established Japanese methods; the yellow fabric with a design of flowers and running water was dyed using 13 colors, and the green fabric with a pattern of flowers and birds was dyed using 15 colors! Her elegant obi is made of a gold brocade fabric with a round pattern inspired by a golden coin; the traditional textile is woven with gold thread, silver thread, and gold and silver leaf for a feeling of richness.
