It's Cold Cast, which makes this superior in quality (with some downsides
to durability) as well as 1/6 scale (you did see the dimensions, right?) It's
roughly 30% larger than the average 1/7, 1/8 scale figures in addition to the
casting technique, so no, you're wrong, you're getting a lot for what you pay for.

Cold Casting issues:

1. Much more difficult to sculpt for as you have to sculpt for a highly
unforgiving molding material. I can't imagine how many iterations
the artist has had to go through to produce a final result on deadline.
2. The material is less pliable and prone to breaking. This means a
very high cost in shipping and insurance.
