Hetalia: The World Twinkle, based on the webmanga Hetalia: Axis Powers by Hidekaz Himaruya, premiered on July 3, 2015 for streaming on the Docomo Anime Store, though the first three episodes received an early release for paying Docomo subscribers on June 27, 2015. It is also the sixth season overall of the anime series Hetalia. It follows the adventures of anthropomorphic countries as they live through historical events and interact with one another with a focus on differences in culture and positive and negative Japanese stereotypes of other countries.
